My reading Bucket List

#1 Sarah Dessen ‘The Truth About Forever’

I would like to read the book ‘The truth about Forever’ for two reasons.  The first is that I have read books by this author before, and they are always very good.  She writes in a way that really seems to appeal to teenage girls.  I think that is why she is so popular.  Another reason, is because I have had friends recommend this book specifically.

#2 Lauren Oliver ‘Before I Fall’
I would like to read the book ‘Before I Fall’ by Lauren Oliver for a few reasons.  The first is that I always find myself interested in books that I can relate to.  From what I understand, this is a book about a high school girl. Also, I am interested in psychology, and it would be interesting to see what someone thinks is going through a teenage girls mint that is about to take her own life.

#3 Sarah Dessen ‘Along for the Ride’

I would like to read this book, again, because I love sarah dessen, and it is also one of her best-selling books, so it must be good.  I have considered reading this book before, but have never actually read it.  I think this will be a very good book.

#4 Sarah Dessen ‘The summer I Turned Pretty’

I am also looking forward to reading another book of Sarah Dessens’ it is called ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’.  This book is about a girl who was never noticed but she suddenly gets attention from everyone in her high school.  I think it will be interesting to see how the attention affects her self-confidence.  Also, I wonder how her relationships will change with her friends because of this new attention.

#4 Ally Condie ‘Matched’
I would like to read the book matched by Ally Condie because my brother bought it for me from his book fair.  I have been meaning to read it for a long time now, and I have started it before, but I have always ended up putting it down for another book.

#5 Ally Condie ‘Reached’
I would like to read this book because I have the firat book in the series, and the wors that they live in reminded me of the ‘Uglies’ series.  Alternate ways of law and universe have always interested me.  With the new book coming out soon, I think a lot of people will want to read this book.

#6 Ally Condie ‘Crossed’

This is a new boo in a series that I have been interested in for a long time.  It does not come out until sometime this spring, but I think it will be worth the wait.  This series is about one main question “what if the government controlled everything, from where you work to who you marry?”

#7 Author Anonymous ‘Go Ask Alice”

The book ‘Go Ask Alice’ is a real diary from a girl in the ‘70’s who gets hooked on LSD and marijuana.  This book shows how we her nearly perfect life spun out of control in the matter of just a few short months.

#9 ‘Incantation’
I would like to read the book ‘incantation’ because it is historical fiction, and history is my favorite subject.  It is about a teenage girl during the Spanish Inquisition.  She does not fully understand what she believes or why her and her family are being punished so harshly.

#10 Sarah Dessen ‘Someone Like You’
I would like to read this book because I really enjoy Sarah Dessens books, and this is among her top sellers, so it is bound to be a good book. I have never considered reading this book before, even though I have seen it many times. This is because the cover has never interested me. Oh well, can’t judge a book by its cover I suppose.
